George V Volunteer Force Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.

Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson, 1st Viscount Nelson, 1st Duke of Bronté, KB, also known simply as Admiral Nelson, was a British flag officer in the Royal Navy. Famous for defeating the Franco-Spanish fleet at the Battle of Trafalgar on board HMS Victory and his subsequent death from a wound received from a French sharpshooter.

This is an interesting medallion / item which is base metal and appears to have been mounted on something at some point. Unfortunately nothing is known about the item or its history and so any information would be gratefully received.

A George V Military OBE and Commission Papers.  

Comprising one George V OBE and two military commission documents. The first military commission document is for the recipient’s appointment as a Second Lieutenant in the Indian Army Reserve of Officers and the second is for the recipient’s appointment as a Captain in the Indian Army and where the recipient is referred to as an OBE.
